This project is in an early phase of development and testing and we welcome input and collaboration. The potential uses we see for the EVIDEM™ framework include:

Healthcare Decisionmaking

• Structuring evidence in a systematic and synthesized format
• Exploring societal priorities
• Sharing rationale and values behind decisions in a clear and transparent manner

Research

• Exploring the context of past decisions
• Generating data on quality of evidence for a therapeutic intervention with a structured format
• Guiding methodologies used to generate evidence so it is tailored to explicit decisionmaking needs
• Strategic research planning

Education

• Exploring the thinking processes underlying decisions made
• Exploring the concepts that define quality of evidence

EVIDEM™ instruments and platform are free. EVIDEM™ v1.1 was developed based on feedback collected from stakeholders; some modules are available for further testing and application.
