Paul Oh is Medical Director of the Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Prevention Program at the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute and Staff Physician in the Department of Medicine at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. He obtained his MD from the University of Toronto in 1988 and completed specialty training in Internal Medicine, Clinical Pharmacology and Clinical Epidemiology in Toronto, with a focus on the management and evaluation of risk factors and cardiovascular disease, and economic evaluation of health care technologies. In the Cardiac Rehab Program he provides leadership in education, research, clinical care and program development. He is a prior member and Chair of the Drug Quality and Therapeutics Committee (DQTC) of Ontario and has participated in guidelines and strategic development processes for health technology evaluation provincially and federally.
